are nine Standing Committees that meet during each of
the two Trustee meetings
held generally in April and September of each year.
In addition, the committees work via mail, phone, and
e-mail between meetings.
Committee
members are appointed for a term of one year and may
serve any number of successive terms. Serving as a member
of one of these Committees, listed below, is an excellent
way to learn the workings of the Foundation
and can be a precursor to serving as a Trustee.
